This weekend I jet off to Eastern Australia. My plan is to spend 5 nights in Sydney. Right now, the only brewpub I have listed as a must is The Lord Nelson. Sydney is not much of an issue as it is well represented on beermapping. If anyone does have Sydney suggestions not listed, then pass them on of course.
What I a really after are suggestions for outside of Sydney. I will be flying to Brisbane and spending the night there. There is nothing listed on beermapping other than a closed brewpub and Bru 4 U which seems to be a brewing supply company? I did come across the International Hotel which has a microbrewery.
From Brisbane I will be collecting a camper van (for 8 days) and driving north to Hervey bay. I will spend a couple of nights up there and then begin a slow drive down to Sydney. The plan is to mix a bit of coastal driving and at some point head inland to the bush. I want to see nothing for a bit, I may get bored but it is something I have to experience. The closest I got was the Grand Canyon in Arizona and there was plenty of life there so not quite the same.
I will probably head back in to Sydney through the Blue mountains.
It was suggested by Steve that I keep an eye out for Murray's beers and it looks like a great place to visit so I will be heading there I reckon.
There is also everything listed on the beermapping Australia map to consider so what I am looking for are places not listed that I should look out for.
