I have two beers from Thwaites and the first one was by far the best. Wainwright is a fairly simple English pale ale with a biscuit malt and lemon citrus aroma. It tastes crisp and refreshing and pretty much like a lager. It is not interesting at all but it is very good as a light, easy to drink beer that is fantastic cold.
Was I missing something? Did I have a bad bottle ? It was ok

Wainwright took the gold medal in its class at the Brewing Industry International Awards the other week -- the same class that Dungarvan Black Rock won bronze. It sounds lovely: I must give it a spin soon.
